Donation Drop-off Locations
Bicycling in Greensboro (BIG) is seeking used bikes for use in its Changing Gears program and is not able to pick up bicycles at this time and asks that anyone who has a bicycle suitable for an adult for donation to drop the bicycle off at the Interactive Resource Center (407 E Washington St, Greensboro, NC 27401) between 8 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday, or between 8 am and 12 pm, Saturday or Sunday. The IRC will provide a receipt from BIG at the time of the bike donation for any donor who would like a receipt for his/her donation. If you have questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com or ChangingGearsLeadership@bikegso.org.
If you have a gently used child's bike to donate, you can donate it at The Lotus Center. These bikes will be repaired and given for free to clients at Church World Service or will be used by young people at the Warnersville Rec Center. Unfortunately at this time, our friends at The Lotus Center are unable to provide gift donation receipts for tax purposes but your used bike will still improve the lives of others in our community.
Please drop children's bikes off at The Lotus Center at 2412 Lawndale Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408. Bikes may be left in the backyard if no one else is there or you may contact firstname.lastname@example.org or text 336.459.0711 to arrange a pickup/drop off.
Thank you for considering donating your bike to Bicycling in Greensboro. We appreciate any and all donations to support cycling in our community.
