More cyclists are on Greensboro's streets than everbefore. Could it be due to gas prices that are near-European? Concerns of global climate change? LeTour de France? Perfect cycling weather?

Whichever your reason I encourage continuedparticipation in bicycling. May was Bike Month andmany city residents took part in the festivitiesincluding our premier “Ride of Silence” and thedowntown Bike-to-Work-Day refueling station.

Bicycling In Greensboro, Inc., a nonprofit organization also known at BIG, exists to help transform the greater Greensboro area into a more bicycle friendly community.  BIG seeks to accomplish this mission through education, advocacy, alliances, events and service, with ultimate goals of safe and convenient cycling for transportation and recreation, improved health and wellness, and an enhanced environment for all.  BIG has received Federal 501(c)(3) status.
